Wow! It is amazing to me that I have photographed more than one hundred and twenty weddings over the past twelve years! From the time I first picked up a fully manual film camera in my early teen years, photography has always been my favorite creative tool. Throughout my fine art studies at Massachusetts College of Art, I enjoyed painting, sewing, and drawing for their immediacy; ceramics for the process; and photography for capturing the essence of a moment. Making photographs remains my favorite form of artistic expression.

Each time I am invited to join a bridal couple and their circle of loved ones to document their wedding day, I am honored. I respect every wedding as a distinct series of unforgettable moments. In purposefully keeping the quantity of weddings I photograph small, weddings remain fresh and exciting experiences for me. I keep my eyes open for those exceptional moments that mark each wedding as unique among the multitude of weddings that occur daily around the globe. My style of photographing weddings has always been to document moments as they happen and plan well for portraits.

I use my humor and intuition to help people feel comfortable in front of my camera. My ability to “read” people and their emotions in a variety of situations is a key tool in creating meaningful photographs for you.

Communication, organization and planning are key elements for proper photographic coverage of your wedding day. I will ask you pertinent planning questions prior to the wedding day so you can relax and enjoy your special day!

At the end of a wedding, I often hear expressions of gratitude for my respectful manner, and work ethic and how I capture moments by blending into events.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my photographs. I would love to speak with you about photographing your wedding day. Please send me an e-mail or give me a call. I look forward to hearing from you.
